About the Role

  • Support children’s personal care and daily routines sensitively and respectfully.
  • Promote positive behaviour and support children’s social and emotional development.
  • Contribute to observations and assessments under the guidance of the class teacher.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to school life.

We are on the lookout for a passionate and dynamic individual who is ready to make a real impact in our classrooms! You should:

  • Have experience of working with young children, ideally within an Early Years or school setting.
  • Hold a relevant Early Years qualification or be willing to work towards one.
  • Have a good understanding of child development and the EYFS.
  • Be caring, patient, and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in early childhood education.
  • Work well as part of a team and communicate effectively with adults and children.
  • Be committed to inclusion, safeguarding, and promoting children’s wellbeing.

This role is Part-time term-time Monday to Friday 33.75 hrs per week (30 hours are offered on a permanent contract, the extra 3.75 hours are attached to the Early Years setting and will be reduced should you move to another year group). Salary is KSA (£26,168 FTE - approximately £20,272 pro rata).

At The Stour Academy Trust, we value our staff and are committed to their professional growth.
