We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Art to make a genuine difference in our student’s lives. You will be highly creative with a passion to inspire and support students to explore, develop, and express their creativity through high-quality art education. This will include delivering engaging lessons at GCSE level and contributing to vocational pathways where NCFE and/or AQA experience would be advantageous.

Qualified Teacher Status is required for this role as well as experience working within a school environment, ideally with children with SEND or SEMH needs. The role also includes leading and developing an art club, encouraging wider participation in creative activities and enriching students’ school experience.

West Heath is working towards achieving the Arts Award, and the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting this development and embedding a strong culture of creativity across the school.
