The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
We are seeking to appoint a Part Time, 31.25 hours per week (7.30am – 2.15pm), 39 weeks per year (Term Time plus 5 days), Assistant Cook at Rainham Mark Grammar School. This is a permanent position and the successful applicant will be assisting and supporting the catering manager in the provision of an efficient and effective catering service, in accordance to healthy eating and DfE guidance.
The role involves assisting in the preparation, cooking, presentation and serving of meals and snacks whilst ensuring that food hygiene and health and safety regulations are in place and adhered to, including the completion and recording of necessary checks.
We are looking for someone who is able to maintain good relationships with all staff, students, visitors, suppliers and contractors, has experience of working within a catering environment and is able to work as part of a team.
