Woodpeckers Preschool, located in Cranbrook, are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, skilled manager to oversee the running of our preschool.
Job Purpose
To be responsible for the development and daily management of the preschool providing a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children aged 2 β 5 years of age. To build links and work in partnership with parents, carers and professionals to promote the well-being of children. To supervise and support all the staff, students and volunteers to achieve high standards of practice. To develop and implement Early Years Curriculum Plans with support from the Deputy Supervisor and early years practitioners. To develop, implement and review the policies, procedures and practices within the Setting.
Hours
8.15am - 4.15pm, Monday to Friday, Term Time Only (38 weeks per year).
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a recognised (minimum) Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
- Minimum 2 years experience in supervisory or managerial post in an early years and childcare setting.
- Demonstrates a warm, responsive, and child-centred approach
- Has strong knowledge of the EYFS and child development
- Can contribute to a safe, stimulating learning environment
- Holds Full Paediatric First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
