Valley Invicta Primary School at Aylesford are seeking to appoint an inspirational and nurturing SENCo to join our dedicated and enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the strategic and operational provision for pupils with SEND and will work alongside school leaders as a member of the Senior Leadership Team. We are seeking someone who believes all children can be successful, and with the right support, can all achieve their best; this will include guiding teachers and support staff with modelling excellent practice and providing a knowledge-rich insight into the very best provision.

We have an established, exciting curriculum that is well-resourced and contextualised to meet the needs of our school community. We are looking for a skilled practitioner who can:

  • Have high expectations of pupils and a commitment to ensure that they can fulfil their potential.
  • Be able to use a range of teaching strategies and resources to motivate and engage pupils with SEND.
  • Have knowledge of the SEN and Disability Code of Practice.
