The Norton Knatchbull School is seeking to appoint an inspiring Head of Sociology to lead the delivery of Sociology at GCSE and A Level with a November, or possibly earlier start.

This is a permanent position.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and outstanding teacher with a genuine passion for teaching and learning, who can lead this highly successful and popular subject.

We welcome applicants from either selective or mixed‑ability settings, who are keen to work with high achieving and motivated students.

The successful applicant will have a proven track record of securing excellent examination outcomes.

They will be an exceptional classroom practitioner, capable of inspiring both students and colleagues, and will lead the department with energy and vision.
