Hadlow Primary School are looking for a skilled, knowledgeable and dynamic person to join our top team! The position requires working on a 1:1 and small group basis with pupils in the primary setting. With staff teams not yet secure for 25/26, there is some flexibility in where the successful candidate will be placed, but this will most likely be within KS2.
The ideal candidate will be positive, highly motivated and flexible. They will show care and nurture for all pupils, ensuring that their physical, medical, emotional and academic needs are met. They will be passionate about education and motivated to a fully inclusive curriculum offer. They will strive to support all children with their happiness, progress and success within the mainstream setting. They will work within a team of experienced and supportive classroom practitioners.
Previous experience of working with children in a nursery or school setting would be preferable, but any experience with SEN would be useful.

This position is for term time only. The role is for 30 hours per week, 8.30am-3.30pm, with an hour's lunch break. The ideal candidate would work for an additional 30 minutes a day to support the child with outdoor play. This would be claimed as overtime. This is on an annual fixed term contract, linked to funding allocated to the pupil. This is likely to be extended if the candidate successfully completes their probation.
