Whether you have experience with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, EBD, MLD or PMLD – please do get in touch, as we have a number of vacancies working in different areas of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. 🧩 Key Responsibilities * Curriculum Support: Assist in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum, adapting materials to meet individual student needs. * Individual and Group Interventions: Plan and deliver targeted interventions, both one-on-one and in small groups, to support students\’ academic and personal development. * Behaviour Management: Implement effective behaviour management strategies in line with school policies to maintain a positive learning environment. * Assessment and Monitoring: Support the monitoring and recording of student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to the planning process. * Classroom Preparation: Prepare the classroom for lessons, ensuring resources are available and the environment is conducive to learning. * Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, SENDCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator), and other professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to supporting students. * Safeguarding: Adhere to safeguarding policies and procedures, ensuring the welfare of all students. 🎓 Qualifications and Experience * HLTA Status: Possession of a Level 4 or higher HLTA qualification is typically required. Please call to discuss experience, as there are different roles for varying levels of experience and qualifications. * SEND Experience: Demonstrated experience working with students with SEND, including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. * Educational Background: A good understanding of the UK National Curriculum and experience in delivering lessons or interventions. * Personal Qualities: Patience, empathy, strong communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
