Compensation and Schedule
£23,195 per annum
35 hours per week
Monday to Friday 15:00–23:00 shifts (including a 1 hour unpaid break)
Workplace: Kent Union’s Coop, Union Plaza, Canterbury Campus (occasionally Coop Park Wood)
34 days annual leave (full-time equivalent)
Responsibilities
- Ensure Coop reductions and wastage routines are completed correctly each day.
- Minimise food wastage and support replenishment of the store.
- Assist with checkout service during afternoon to evening shifts.
- Drive sales through good availability, customer service, and store standards.
- Maintain safety and security of the store for customers and staff.
- Operate from 7am to midnight, 7 days a week, as required.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in retail or store management.
- Full‑time commitment (not suitable for current students).
- Ability to work Monday to Friday evenings and occasional early mornings or late evenings.
