About the role
Looking for something more varied than a typical IT support role? At Kent Students’ Union, technology supports everything from live events and venues to retail systems and digital platforms. We’re looking for a Technical Support Coordinator to help deliver this. This is a varied and practical role supporting everything from IT troubleshooting to live events, AV systems and EPOS/till operations across our venues and outlets.
Key responsibilities
- Provide first-line IT support (hardware, software, user support)
- Support live events (sound, lighting, staging, setup)
- Maintain and support EPOS/till systems and payment technology
- Support venues, retail outlets and digital systems
- Coordinate technical equipment, resources and student staff
- Assist with infrastructure maintenance and system updates
What we’re looking for
- Experience in IT support or technical environments
- Experience troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Interest or experience in AV, events or live production
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on role
