Physical Location: Kent Campus - Kent, OH
Salary: $15.00/hour
Basic Function: This position provides structure and support to NCAA student-athletes in the George L Jenkins Academic Center. As a monitor your responsibilities will be to supervise a controlled environment and maintain all technology within the Academic Center. This position also needs to be flexible to work both weekends and evenings.
Examples of Duties: Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Accurately sign in and out all student-athletes visiting the center.
- Maintain an area conducive to studying for student-athletes.
- Enforce the rules of the Jenkins Center.
- Monitor student activity.
- Monitor the computer stations.
- Attend any scheduled training meetings.
- Refer student-athletes to athletic academic counselors and/or learning specialists as needed.
- Follow NCAA rules and regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree plus two to three years experience in an education related field.
Working Schedule: THIS IS AN ON-CALL/AS-NEEDED PART TIME TERM ASSIGNMENT.
