Physical Location: Kent Campus - Kent, OH

Salary: $46,977 - $54,433

Basic Function: To coordinate admission efforts in the Division of Enrollment Management. Reports to Director, Admissions Operations and Processing.

Examples of Duties: Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Ensure a high level of quality service to applicants, admitted students, and faculty and staff; serve as a key liaison for external and internal constituents.
  • Coordinate and execute application and admissions processes; including clarifying policies and procedures, monitoring application completeness, and issuing offers of admissions.
  • Maintain data integrity within Student Information System (SIS) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system; develop and execute reports to identify, troubleshoot and resolve data and processing errors.
  • Analyze data to support decision making, process improvement, and quality assurance efforts.
  • Maintain the security of admission records and files.
  • Provide leadership for recruitment and admission projects.
  • Provide training and functional guidance of administrative/professional employees and/or direct supervision of support staff on an ongoing basis.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business, communications, English, education or relevant field. Three years of related experience in admissions or other relevant fields. Must be able to occasionally work evenings or weekends, including additional hours during peak admission periods or to meet project deadlines.

Knowledge Of: Essential project management skills, Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Banner, Cognos and/or CRM software.

Skill In: Providing exceptional customer service, written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, organizing information and projects, adhering to deadlines.

Ability To: Ensure a high level of quality service with a strong attention to details, analyze and develop a variety of problem solving techniques and determine alternative viable courses of action, manage people and projects, be self-directed and work within a team-oriented environment, work effectively with diverse populations, work a flexible work schedule including nights and weekends, and additional hours during peak admission periods or to meet project deadlines, learn CRM and student information systems, reason logically and creatively identify problems, draw valid conclusions, and develop effective solutions.

Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in computer science, business, communications, education or related field. Experience in student admissions in higher education. Experience utilizing CRM and student information systems.

Working Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 AM - 5 PM or otherwise discussed with your supervisor.
