Our client in Cambuslang is seeking a motivated Construction Operative to join their team within a busy construction-focused production facility. This role is ideal for someone with experience in construction, groundwork, trades assistance, or a similar hands-on environment. You will be working with various materials, operating hand and power tools, and supporting the assembly/fabrication of construction components. Full training on all tools and processes will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Work with various materials, operating hand and power tools
- Support the assembly/fabrication of construction components
- Carry out construction-related tasks in a production facility
- Maintain safety standards and quality workmanship
- Attend to daily targets and keep accurate records as required
Skills & Experience (Qualifications)
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, labouring, or a similar physical work environment
- Confident using or learning to use hand and power tools
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work safely and meet daily targets
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Good organisational skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance

- Shifts:
- Day shift: Monday to Friday, 6am-2pm
- Back shift: Monday to Thursday, 2pm-10pm, and Friday, 2pm-6pm
- £12.45 per hour - Day shift
- £13.75 per hour - Back shift
