An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake a full-time role as Facilities and Logistics Team Leader based at Kent Police Headquarters, Sutton Road, Maidstone. This role will include overseeing the day-to-day function of the Facilities team based at Sutton Road and other locations. This role requires the individual to be hands-on in a fast-paced environment where you’ll guide a small team of Facilities staff to maintain smooth operational flow and a safe, efficient working environment. A general knowledge for health & safety is also a part of this role.

During your daily tasks, there will also be the requirement to manage reactive maintenance call outs and deal with various different contractors who can action medium to high level work. Being able to build and maintain professional relationships are key within this area.

You must be someone who can be responsible, enjoys improving processes and can balance leadership with operational delivery. Communication is important in this role, within day-to-day functions you will be liaising with various people from across the business.

The use of office software is also important in this role, as you will be utilising a variety of different tools to help aid you in your daily work. The role is perfect for an individual who is flexible, self-motivated and proactive. You will be responsible for ensuring Facilities staff are safe, compliant and well-maintained to provide a high level service to operational colleagues and staff.

Kent Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £35,802.00.
