We are recruiting for a Transport Services Receptionist to join Kent Police Transport Services at Nackington Workshop, Canterbury.
This is a key administrative role supporting the efficient operation of a busy vehicle workshop and helping to maintain the high standards of service provided to our internal customers.
Acting as a first point of contact, you will manage vehicle bookings, customer enquiries, workshop administration and the accurate maintenance of fleet records and documentation.
Working closely with workshop staff, team leaders and Transport Services colleagues, you will ensure that vehicle information is recorded accurately, documentation is processed efficiently and customers receive a professional and responsive service.
The role also involves updating fleet management systems, handling telephone and email enquiries and supporting the day-to-day administrative functions of the workshop.
We are looking for a well-organised individual with strong administrative and customer service skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience within a vehicle fleet, workshop, service reception or automotive environment would be advantageous, together with experience using fleet or workshop management systems and a basic understanding of vehicle servicing and maintenance processes.
Reporting to the Reception Team Leader, this role plays an important part in supporting fleet operations and helping to ensure Transport Services continues to deliver an effective service to Kent Police.
Kent Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £29,424.00.
