The predicted salary is between 50000 - 65000 £ per year.
The Principal Electrical Engineer will be responsible for the execution of project work, in accordance with the Discipline Design Instructions, including Company and/or Project Procedures on Safety and Quality Control, within the man-hour, cost budgets and the project schedule targets.
Key Requirements:
- Producing deliverables such as Base of Design, Specification, Load list, Datasheet, Calculation, Single line diagram, Equipment sizing, MTO, drawings, diagrams.
- Carrying out Electrical System study (ETAP).
- Input to layout, equipment list and cost estimate.
- Managing electrical engineering services including participation in relevant meetings, preparation of progress reports and compliance with required checking procedures.
- Ensuring the project scope is clear and that changes comply with project change management processes.
- Ensuring compliance with national, international and local electrical codes, standards including Aramco SAES, and regulations in Saudi Arabia.
- Designing motor protection and control schematics/wiring diagrams.
- Reviewing vendor designs for compliance with Technical Specifications and applicable standards.
- Attending project team meetings, Client meetings and vendor review meetings.
- Establishing a good working relationship with the Clients.
