We are seeking highly experienced offshore wind professionals capable of acting as technical leads across consultancy and design scopes, particularly for WTG foundations and offshore substations.
Individuals should be able to provide technical oversight, lead delivery teams, and contribute to the development of our engineering capability.
- Key Requirements
- Act as a Lead Engineer on a project, performing duties with no direct supervision and with agreed quality, schedule and budgets.
- Lead resolution of complex, high-risk or novel technical issues, including coordinating internal and external expertise.
- Responsible for the delivery of high-quality deliverables, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards and internal procedures.
- Interface directly with clients, including presentation of technical solutions, design justification and risk positions.
- Engage with existing technical network to support the innovation and development of our designs, design tools and client offerings.
- Provide technical guidance, mentoring and quality oversight to engineers and senior engineers.
- Significant related experience of working for engineering/client organisations in the offshore wind industry.
- Proven experience delivering FEED and detailed design projects for offshore fixed bottom foundations.
- Specialist expertise in one or more key disciplines – engineering management, primary steel design, secondary structures design, grouted connections, geotech and ground modelling.
- Ability to significantly influence design decisions and manage technical risk.
- Strong working knowledge of relevant international design codes and certification processes (DNV, IEC, Eurocodes).
- Knowledge of safety and quality procedures and best practice.
