The CHBPo S Consultant will provide consultant cover and clinical leadership to the CHBPo S, working alongside clinical and management colleagues.
The post holder is a key link between operational and clinical roles within KMMH, providing leadership to external interfaces related to patient flow.
Responsibilities Provide consultant cover for patients in the CHBPo S.
Provide clinical supervision to resident doctors covering the CHBPo S during daytime.
Advise on policies related to the provision of care by the place of safety service in KMMH.
Monitor Section 136 activity in relation to demand in the new CHBPo S and consider necessary resources.
Advise on how resources for the CHBPo S should be deployed to maximize quality, patient experience, and flow across care group areas.
Support the Acute Clinical Director in cost-improvement planning and quality assessing the impact of cost-improvement schemes.
Proactively ensure learning from serious incidents, near-misses and complaints is considered in the running of the CHBPo S.
Promote a culture valuing safety, effectiveness and automatic patient/carer engagement, including openness and responsibilities under duty of candour. #J-18808-Ljbffr
