What We’re Looking For
We are looking for someone who brings energy, adaptability, and a genuinely client‑centred approach. While the majority of your time will be spent during standard business hours (Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm), our clients’ lives don’t always stop at 5:00pm. To truly meet them where they are, a degree of flexibility is required for occasional evening or weekend work – all of which is planned and agreed upon well in advance to respect your own work‑life balance.
The post holder must hold a full, valid, UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).
Assist in identifying, developing and providing the Occupational Therapy contribution within the multi‑disciplinary service in accordance with the needs of service users and the requirements of the rehabilitation service. Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate rehabilitation interventions for service users. Manage a defined caseload of service users with rehabilitation needs that is service‑user centred, offers hope and adopts NICE Guidance for rehabilitation to promote recovery, better mental and physical health, relapse prevention and skill development.
