About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Singing Teacher. You will have the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings in local schools and Music Centres across Canterbury, Dover, and Thanet. This role includes a blend of individual tuition, small group teaching and leading small ensembles. As part of this role, you will play a key part in supporting singing events and developing local choirs, helping to build vibrant, community‑focussed vocal opportunities for young people. For candidates who also play an instrument, there may be opportunities to deliver whole‑class instrumental tuition alongside your vocal work. We are looking for an inspiring and adaptable practitioner with strong musicianship, excellent vocal pedagogy, and a passion for nurturing confident, expressive young singers.
Contract: Permanent from September 2026
Salaried Teaching Hours: 379.5 per year (approx. 11.5 per week)
Fraction: 0.4 FTE inclusive of working hours for other duties
Salary: £27,233.04 to £33,154.79 pro rata, per annum
