We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Guitar Teacher and confident multi-instrumentalist to join our teaching team. You will have the opportunity to teach in a range of settings in local schools and Music Centres. This role includes a blend of individual tuition, small group teaching, whole-class instrumental delivery and leading small ensembles. As part of this role, you will be able to lead and develop band-style ensembles, supporting young musicians to rehearse, build their performance skills, and enjoy making music together. We are looking for an engaging, adaptable practitioner with strong musicianship and a passion for inspiring the next generation of performers.
About the role:
- Location: Sevenoaks, Tonbridge & Malling, and Tunbridge Wells
- Contract: Permanent from September 2026
- Salaried Teaching Hours: 379.5 hours per year (approx. 11.5 hours per week)
- Fraction: 0.4 FTE inclusive of working hours for other duties
Work collaboratively with our team to build your lessons and create timetables that suit your lifestyle and allow for personal and professional growth. Travel expenses covered for work-related travel. We help you establish and maintain positive relationships with schools and other music education partners. Our team supports your professional growth and development through regular PDRs (Personal Development Reviews) and upskilling and CPD opportunities, including training in safeguarding, pedagogy, and skill sharing.
