Job summary

Kent Music is seeking a dynamic piano teacher to join our team, from October 2025. You will have the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings, including 1-1, small group, whole class, and ensemble teaching in local schools and music centres. This role includes teaching at the Sevenoaks Music Centre on Tuesday evenings. This position promises a fulfilling opportunity to nurture and develop young pianists.

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Salaried Teaching Hours: 11.5teaching hours per week
  • Fraction: 0.4 FTE inclusive of working hours for other duties
  • Work collaboratively with our team to build your lessons and create timetables that suit your lifestyle and allow for personal and professional growth.
  • Travel expenses covered for work-related travel.
  • We assist in helping you establish and maintain positive relationships with schools and other music education partners.
  • Our team is dedicated to supporting your professional growth and development through regular PDRs (Personal Development Reviews) and upskilling and CPD opportunities, including training in safeguarding, pedagogy, and skill sharing.
  • Access peer-to-peer support from lead teachers within our collaborative environment.
