We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Singing Teacher to join our teaching team. You will have the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings in local schools and Music Centres across Dartford, Gravesham, Maidstone and Sheppey. This role includes a blend of individual tuition, small group teaching, and leading small ensembles.
As part of this role, you will play a key part in supporting singing events and developing local choirs, helping to build vibrant, community-focused vocal opportunities for young people. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the growing singing culture on Sheppey, supporting the development of new vocal initiatives in the area. For candidates who also play an instrument, there may be opportunities to deliver whole-class instrumental tuition alongside your vocal work.
We are looking for an inspiring and adaptable practitioner with strong musicianship, excellent vocal pedagogy, and a passion for nurturing confident, expressive young singers.
About the role:
- Location: Dartford, Gravesham, Maidstone and Sheppey
- Contract: Permanent from September 2026
- Salaried Teaching Hours: 379.5 hours per year (approx. 11.5 hours per week)
- Fraction: 0.4 FTE inclusive of working hours for other duties
Work collaboratively with our team to build your lessons and create timetables that suit your lifestyle and allow for personal and professional growth.
