Kent Music is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Piano Teacher to join our teaching team. You will have the opportunity to teach in a variety of settings, including one-to-one and ensemble sessions in local schools and Music Centres across Dartford, Gravesham and Maidstone. This role involves teaching at Gravesham Music Centre on Wednesday evenings, and includes a blend of individual tuition, whole-class instrumental delivery, and supporting young musicians in developing their performance skills.

This position offers the opportunity to help expand piano provision in the area, responding to strong local demand and long waiting lists at several schools. We are looking for an engaging, adaptable practitioner with strong musicianship, excellent piano pedagogy, and a passion for inspiring learners at all stages of their musical journey.

About the role:

  • Location: Dartford, Gravesham and Maidstone
  • Contract: Permanent from September 2026
  • Salaried Teaching Hours: 379.5 hours per year (approx. 11.5 hours per week)
  • Fraction: 0.4 FTE inclusive of working hours for other duties

Work collaboratively with our team to build your lessons and create timetables that suit your lifestyle and allow for personal and professional growth. Our team supports your professional growth and development through regular PDRs (Personal Development Reviews) and upskilling and CPD opportunities, including training in safeguarding, pedagogy, and skill sharing.
