GP Clinical Lead – Associate Clinical Partner Track – Maritime Health Partnership

Senior GP leadership opportunity | Long-term development pathway | Remuneration reflects experience, responsibility and impact

Are you a GP who wants more than another salaried role?

Are you clinically strong, comfortable making decisions, willing to carry responsibility and interested in becoming a significant future leader in primary care?

We are looking for an exceptional GP / Clinical Lead to join a large and ambitious primary care organisation in a senior, hands-on clinical leadership role.

This is not a desk-based leadership position.

It is a highly visible role at the heart of day-to-day clinical delivery.

You will work alongside our GPs, MDT clinicians, operational leaders and Partners, providing senior clinical oversight across Same Day Assessment, triage and incoming clinical work-streams.

You will help the organisation understand what is happening clinically today, where pressure is building, where risk sits and what needs to happen next.

You will be expected to:

  • Provide visible day-to-day senior clinical leadership.
  • Act as a key point of escalation for GPs and MDT clinicians.
  • Oversee Same Day Assessment, triage and incoming clinical demand.
  • Identify and mitigate clinical and operational risk.
  • Support and supervise clinicians.
  • Take a meaningful share of the clinical workload yourself.
  • Step into pressure points when the service needs you.
  • Work closely with the Partners and senior operational leadership.
  • Improve flow, quality, patient outcomes and the effectiveness of the wider clinical team.

This is leadership with your sleeves rolled up!

Commensurate with seniority & experience
