Maternity Leave Paramedic - (On-Site, Few Home Visits)
Balmoral Surgery - 24 hours per week (Ideally working on Mon/Wed & Fri)
We’re looking for an experienced Paramedic to join our friendly, supportive GP team to cover Maternity Leave. This is a predominantly on-site role with a small number of home visitss, designed to make best use of your urgent care skills while keeping your workload safe and sustainable.
What you’ll do
- Runsame-day / urgent care clinicsfor appropriate presentations
- See patientsface-to-face, by phone and videowithin an agreed scope of practice
- Carry outoccasional home visitsfor suitable patients on a planned rota
- Request and interpret basic investigations, provide safety-netting and clear follow-up
- Work closely with GPs, nurses and the wider MDT to improve access and patient care

About you
- HCPC-registered Paramedic with substantial urgent/emergency care experience
- Confident in autonomous assessment within clear protocols and escalation routes
- Strong communicator, team-player and keen to develop in primary care
