Maritime Health Partnership is seeking a motivated and compassionate Practice Nurse to join our dedicated nursing team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care within a supportive and innovative GP practice.Working alongside our GP Partners, Nurse Manager and multidisciplinary clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing safe, effective and patient-centred care to our local community.

Responsibilities:

  • Delivering routine nursing care and chronic disease management
  • Childhood and adult immunisations
  • Cervical cytology screening
  • Venepuncture and specimen collection
  • Wound care, dressings, suture and clip removal
  • Health promotion and lifestyle advice
  • Travel health and vaccination advice
  • Contraception and sexual health support
  • Supporting Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) delivery
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring compliance with NMC standards
  • Working collaboratively with GPs, HCAs, pharmacists and wider healthcare professionals

Qualifications

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN)
  • Current NMC Registration
  • Experience working within Primary Care,
  • General Practice or Community Nursing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to delivering outstanding patient care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
