We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our team at Swanscombe Health Centre and branch practices. The role of the Practice nurse will be to work within our nursing team, to offer support and treatment for our patients, focusing particularly on health improvement. You should have experience of working in a similar role, with relevant qualifications, NMC registration, and have excellent organisational skills.
Duties will include (but not exhaustive);
- Baby/Childhood immunisations
- Injections
- Wound care
- Cervical Screening
- Pill Checks/contraceptive clinics
- Long term condition checks/support.
- General PN duties
We have a team of over 125 staff throughout 7 sites, including GPs, Paramedic Practitioners, Clinical Pharmacists, Physicians Associates, a Physiotherapist, Practice Nurses, Healthcare Assistants, Social Prescribers and the administrative support workers. Even with a large team, we work closely together and clinical staff are supported by a weekly clinical meeting.
