The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
This is a one-year post (extendable for an exceptional candidate) with 50% of the post holders time being involved in medical education including simulation-based teaching and the other 50% providing registrar level clinical service.
Teaching provision
The successful candidate will be expected to:

Develop a wide-ranging understanding of educational theory and teaching methodology supported by the clinical lead for Education and the HEE KSS simulation lead.

Work as a collaborative member of the multi-professional education team including practice development midwives, obstetricians, obstetric anaesthetists and fetal monitoring midwives to deliver our maternity training programme.

Develop and maintain educational materials and teaching aids and tools.

Develop and deliver simulation scenarios under the supervision of the clinical lead for education in collaboration with the trust simulation team.
