We have an exciting opportunity for a Door Assembly Operative Apprentice. You will take part in woodworking and joinery with practical experience in manufacturing of bespoke doors and fire doors.

Dealing with the domestic customer just wanting a single door or main contractors on full scale projects, we will accommodate to everyone's needs.We pride ourselves in fast turnarounds and appreciate our customers work to strict deadlines which cannot be missed and as such if something is urgent we will pull out all the stops to deliver at short notice and on a short lead time.We hold many independent accreditations including the BM-TRADA Q-MARK which means you can be safe assured that our fire doors are manufactured in the correct way, following the correct specifications and using the correct practices every single time.
What You'll Do
You will be fully trained in all of the following areas:
- To learn all aspects of flush fire door construction and how to use the processing machinery
- Cross-cut
- Panel saw
- Veneer presses
- Sanding machines
- Lipping machines
- Glazing of doors
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Working to deadlines

- Working with and shadowing experienced colleagues
