Location: Margate Fire Station

Hours: Part Time: 4.5 Hours per week, 1.5 hours per afternoon, Monday, Wednesday & Friday (Flexible on Times, to be discussed at Interview)

Base Salary: £25,256 full time equivalent - £3,071.67 pro rata’d (£13.13 per hour)

Pension: Automatic membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme

Holidays: In addition to entitlement to bank/public holidays you will receive 28 days holiday pro-rata’d

Being a Cleaning Operative at KFRS:

KFRS has locations across the whole of Kent and Medway. The estate consists predominantly of Fire Stations, 56 to be exact. But we also operate and maintain several other non-operational buildings. The Property Services team is responsible for managing the estate. We’re an in-house professional team, skilled in all aspects of Facilities Management.

As part of the Cleaning Team, you will be responsible for undertaking cleaning tasks ensuring that your designated sites are cleaned to a hygienic condition, to agreed cleaning specifications. You will be providing efficient and effective cleaning services ensuring health and safety regulations are met, and performing tasks such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and cleaning of kitchens and washrooms.
