Kent Family Medical is a local, family-owned, highly rated private GP practice in Mereworth, close to Kings Hill, West Malling, Maidstone and Tonbridge. We have established a reputation that brings patients from as far away as the East Kent coast and Southeast London as well as our local communities; our patient list is growing rapidly.
Our clinics book a full range of patients with acute and chronic health issues. You will manage the patients independently, but have access to a collaborative team of peers including our lead GP, to discuss any complex or challenging cases, according to need. GP appointments are 30 minutes long. Health screening package 1st appointments are 45 minutes. Repeat clients are common and usually seek to see the same GP again, building up your caseload, activity, reputation and income.

Our Practice, Vision & Future
Becky, Helen, Nick and Ben, the directors, are all healthcare professionals. Our practice is known as welcoming, modern and one that operates at the highest clinical standard. Importantly, we want it to be a place that works as well for our team as it does for our patients – a great place to work.
Friendly collaboration is at the heart of what we do. We have a strong focus on clinician development; we will support you to build and develop a career in the private sector. A recent example is the launch of our Occupational Health service.
We are currently offering sessions in our weekly diary such that you can choose sessions to work that suit you. Recurrent diary slots give you the opportunity to develop your own caseload, which typically leads to repeat bookings and growth, with time and commitment. Hours and sessions are negotiable but 1-2 sessions are recommended initially, with scope to expand if desired in the future.
Based in bespoke converted, semi-rural premises, we focus on personalised, high-quality care. You will be working as part of an experienced MDT of clinicians who have a wealth of experience in the NHS and local healthcare system. We aim to provide holistic care that is preventative as well as reactive. Alongside our pre-booked GP appointments, we regularly provide on-the-day urgent appointments for worried and unwell patients, as well as providing a large and growing health screening service.
Kent Family Medical differs from corporate and hospital-based providers; our service feels much more like a traditional family practice. This is a model our patients value, evidenced by feedback, google reviews, word-of-mouth referrals and repeat bookings. Our team are highly valued and highly rated, with 100% 5* reviews both internally and publicly on Google.
Kent Family Medical is growing, and this is your opportunity to join our team. We are looking for colleagues who want to be a firm part of our team and family business brand. Our aim is to always provide a standard of care that we would want for our own family members.
