Oral Health Improvement Support Assistant
Role Responsibility
Kent Public Health is seeking to expand its team to deliver an extended supervised toothbrushing programme under the government’s Plan for Change to help give children the best start in life. These are new and exciting opportunities to take our supervised toothbrushing programme plan forward. Are you a motivated and enthusiastic team player interested in supporting young children’s health?
We are looking to appoint an Oral Health Improvement Support Assistant to join our thriving public health team in Kent County Council. You will need to be experienced in working in a professional environment and as an admin or clerical officer.
As the Oral Health Improvement Support Assistant, you will be supporting a new oral health team and programme of work. In this role, you will provide professional support and assistance to the supervised toothbrushing team, undertaking project activities and sharing good practice to ensure the smooth running of the new supervised toothbrushing service.
You will have excellent administrative skills, good attention to detail and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people.
The role of the Oral Health Support Assistant is across Kent, so travel may be required.
All roles will be supported, and line managed by a Public Health Specialist and be part of a friendly, dynamic and supportive team which promotes professional development and will recognise your achievements.
