We are looking for a part‑time, 18.5 hours a week Business Support Officer to join the Adolescent Early Help West1 team. This demanding and challenging role requires a calm and organised approach, alongside excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Arranging and minuting meetings.
  • Daily mailbox monitoring and dealing with queries.
  • Diary management and tracking timescales.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for phone queries.
  • Updating and uploading to case management systems.
  • Supporting Early Help staff in a fast‑paced environment, providing professional support to families, professionals and colleagues.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and sharing duties across the team.
  • Organising own time and supporting others to meet deadlines and performance targets.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Legal and Vetting

Post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service. Position is considered customer‑facing; therefore a statutory duty under Part7 of the Immigration Act (2016) requires post holders to have a command of spoken English sufficient for effective performance of the job requirements.
