We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Programme & Project Support to join our Portfolio Management Office (PMO). This role is central to ensuring the smooth and effective running of our programmes and projects, providing high-quality coordination, administrative support and data management across a diverse portfolio of strategic priorities. The role will be key in delivering the most strategic programmes and projects within the organisation that make a positive difference to services and residents across Kent.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional support to Portfolio Managers, Programme and Project Managers and Officers to enable successful delivery of priorities
  • Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, record actions and track progress to ensure delivery stays on track
  • Support the development, organisation and maintenance of programme and project documentation
  • Collect, analyse and manage data and information to support programme reporting and decision-making
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of workshops, presentations and stakeholder engagement activities
  • Maintain and support PMO systems and processes (including Office 365 tools such as Teams, SharePoint and Excel)
  • Provide support on financial and commercial activities, including purchase orders and invoice processing
