We have a unique and rewarding opportunity for adynamic, self‑motivated Lead Intelligence Analystto join the Kent Intelligence Service , supporting the Kent Resource Partnership (KRP)and working closely with all 12 District and Borough Councils.
This is a fast‑paced, high‑impact role where you will provide expert intelligence and analysis to drive effective enforcement activity and support strategic decision‑making across Kent.
What you will do
- Promote intelligence-led approaches in fly-tipping enforcement.
- Serve as the main contact for fly-tipping intelligence across councils and partners.
- Create analytical reports and profiles following national standards.
- Advise enforcement teams and managers to guide investigations and actions.
- Provide intelligence training for consistent practices among officers.
- Conduct detailed checks and collaborate on cases involving major offenders.
- Identify trends and intelligence gaps to inform priorities.
- Support strategic projects with intelligence and insights.
What you will need
- Experience in intelligence-led decision‑making.
- Background in analysis or enforcement using intelligence.
- Strong analytical skills for clear, actionable outputs.
- Proficient IT and data handling skills.
- Ability to work independently and build partnerships.
This is a hybrid role, with a mix of office and home working.
The postholder will need to attend our Maidstone and Kings Hill bases, with occasional travel across Kent for meetings.
