We have an opportunity for a Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist to join our Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells community OT Team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of Occupational Therapists and Occupational Therapy Assessment Officers.
  • Support day-to-day clinical practice and team performance.
  • Liaise with Connect, Keah and Community Social Work teams to help prevent, reduce and delay the need for care and support, while supporting individuals' independence in their own homes.
  • Provide induction and ongoing training and facilitate expertise within moving and handling, enablement techniques, specialist equipment and major adaptations.
  • Receive regular individual supervision from the Operational Manager and contribute to a tailored personal development plan.
  • Work in a flexible hybrid model, spending non-clinical time between an office base and home, attending the office at least twice a week; future roles may require service during weekend hours.
  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence (reasonable adjustments will be considered for applicants who cannot drive due to a disability).

Qualifications

  • Qualified Occupational Therapist registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Experience in leading a team of healthcare professionals.
  • Successful past application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and Enhanced Disclosure verification.
  • Proficiency in spoken English of a level sufficient for the role (as required by Part 7 of the Immigration Act).
