This is an exciting opportunity to join The Care Leavers Service, Business Support Team. If you would like to be part of a busy team helping to support the Care Leavers Service, then this could be the position for you. We offer an attractive package of 28 days paid annual leave pro‑rata plus bank holidays, pension scheme and the Kent Rewards Scheme. In addition to this, we offer opportunities for training and development and the teams are currently working flexibly from home and the office. There is an expectation that you would attend the office twice a week.

Key Responsibilities

  • This role will require strong communication and organisation skills and an understanding of the needs of the children/young people we support.
  • You will have excellent attention to detail and be trained in how to use co‑pilot.
  • You will have a good understanding of multi‑agency work and be able to work well with our partner agencies.
  • You must have strong IT skills to collate, manage and present data.
  • You must be able to proactively manage your workload whilst responding to urgent requests and deadlines.
  • You will also need to demonstrate a confident manner in liaising with the public, professionals, and organisations, often acting as a contact point for the service.
  • We need someone with a calm and organised approach who can make a positive contribution to the success of the team.
