Gravesham Place Registered Care Centre has positions for Permanent Part Time Care Workers to work with Dementia and Non-Dementia Service Users. Gravesham Place is an 80 bedded integrated Care setting offering Respite, Enablement & Assessment beds for adults. We are situated close to town near to all transport links and the amenities of Gravesend.
You will be joining a team which provides person-centered care supporting Service Users to maintain and improve their mobility and independence and achieve identified goals with the assistance of in-house Occupational Therapists. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a “Can do” and caring approach. Applicants must be flexible and reliable and willing to work a mixture of shifts which will include weekends and bank holidays.
Our set shift hours are:
- Earlies - 7:00am – 2:30pm
- Lates – 2:00pm – 9:30pm
Applicants must demonstrate a willingness to undertake NVQ 2 if they do not already have it. Suitable candidates must demonstrate a passion for enabling independence, supporting people with a range of physical needs and be able to provide accurate daily records. Full training, uniform, DBS checks and a comprehensive induction are provided.
