Overview
You will work in a range of primary schools, Family Hubs, community-based venues and online from home. Courses range from one week to four terms, usually delivered in two-and-a-half hourly sessions per week. You will be paid for preparation as well as teaching time on a ratio of 1:1 and be expected to attend three tutor meetings per year and actively engage with CPD. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
