Kent Enablement at Home (KEaH) supports adults across Kent to regain independence, confidence and daily living skills following illness, hospital admission or changes in circumstances. Our Senior Business Support Officers (KSE) play a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the service. This role provides essential coordination and oversight to ensure safe, compliant and efficient business support, supporting continuous improvement across the service.
You will provide high-quality business support, alongside coordinating and supporting Business Support Officers to deliver essential administrative, care coordination and operational functions to frontline Enablement teams. This is a varied and fast-paced role, ideal for someone who enjoys working collaboratively, managing competing priorities and supporting both colleagues and people who use our services.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide high-quality administrative and business support to Enablement operational teams
- Support and coordinate Business Support Officers, including day-to-day guidance, induction and development
- Support care coordination activity, ensuring the timely and accurate allocation, tracking and updating of enablement visits
- Act as a key point of contact for business processes, queries and operational issues
- Manage complex enquiries, shared mailboxes and service correspondence
- Monitor and maintain accurate records and data systems, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
- Support financial and monitoring processes, including audits, reporting and data quality checks
- Contribute to service improvement activity, identifying efficiencies and supporting new ways of working
- Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure safe, effective and responsive service delivery

Experience within Adult Social Care or a care-related environment is desirable, but training and support will be provided.

- This role is considered a customer-facing position
- Kent Enablement at Home operates between 6am and 10pm, Monday to Sunday
- Working hours, contractual basis and patterns of work will be discussed at interview, in line with service requirements
- Appointment is subject to the usual pre-employment checks
