Kent County Council is seeking a proactive and organised Area Technical Services Assistant to support the delivery of Hard Facilities Management (FM) services. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team, contributing to efficient operations and high-quality service delivery across KCC properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support monitoring of Hard FM operational budgets and assist with work prioritisation.
- Raise purchase orders for approved works promptly.
- Organise and administer supplier meetings, including minutes and actions.
- Prepare, maintain and review contract documentation and performance data.
- Ensure project handover documentation is received and stored correctly.
- Promote awareness of statutory compliance responsibilities.
- Deliver excellent, customer‑focused service across all interactions.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation.
You will be an organised and detail‑oriented individual with strong administrative and communication skills, ideally with experience in Facilities Management or a similar environment.
You will have:
- Level 2/3 qualification in Administration (or equivalent experience).
- Experience supporting contracts, budgets, or projects in an office environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Ability to manage priorities and work efficiently in a team.
