Administration Officer - Occupational Therapy Team
An opportunity has arisen for a full‑time motivated and committed Administration Officer to join the Countywide Disabled Children & Young People's Occupational Therapy Service.
Kent County Council offers a hybrid working model with a combination of home and office working. The post will be based in The Rainbow Centre, Ashford.
Role Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Occupational Therapy Team.
- Maintain and manage databases and spreadsheets, ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date records.
- Handle enquiries from members of the public, responding to duty queries by telephone and through a shared email inbox.
- Prioritise and manage competing demands on time, maintaining an organised and efficient working system.
- Work collaboratively with team members and under formal supervision to achieve service objectives.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong office skills, computer literacy, and confidence working with databases and spreadsheets.
- Clear and professional communication skills, including telephone and email etiquette.
- Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service clearance.
- Competent command of spoken English (and Welsh, if applicable) as required by the Immigration Act (2016) for customer‑facing roles.
