We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable Senior Health Advisor to join our caring and progressive team in Eastbourne. Main duties of the job:

  • Our team delivers high-quality evidence-based care to people to support their sexual health needs.
  • You’ll be part of an enthusiastic and passionate team dedicated to keeping people in Kent and Medway safe and well, now and in later life, by providing contraception, treatment for sexually-transmitted infections, and advice and support to maintain healthy relationships.
  • You’ll provide sound clinical judgement and leadership to support our team to safely deliver patient-centred care, and consistently monitor quality and progress in a challenging but rewarding environment.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities:

  • As a community Trust, many of our roles require individuals to be able to drive to perform their duties. As such you will be asked to confirm you have a full UK driving licence where driving is a requirement of the role to be able to proceed with your application.

Person specification:

  • Registered health care professional (NMC) / minimum of 3 years of experience in health improvement environment.
  • Evidence of Specialist qualifications relevant to area of practice or willing to work towards a Sexual health qualification.
  • Practical experience in managing health related projects/complex caseloads.
  • Understanding and experience of partner notification for all sexually transmitted infections including HIV.
  • Understanding of National Service Frameworks and NICE guidance relevant to care setting and its application across health care services.
