You will train alongside a skilled team of professionals who include nurses, community matrons, specialist nurses, healthcare assistants and therapy assistants.

As a Registered Nurse Degree Apprentice in Community Nursing, you will provide care to patients in their own homes, including residential homes, where appropriate. Community nurses work hard to treat patients at home so they do nothave to go into hospital unnecessarily.

Nurses look after people who are housebound and who have nursing needs. They carry out a range of nursing assessments and procedures, for example, medicine administration, taking blood, dressing changes, and contributing tointegrated care.
