We are looking for a Band 5 Specialist Podiatrist within Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will join one of the largest and forward-thinking Podiatry Departments in the country. This role is for a highly motivated and professional HCPC registered Podiatrist to provide high-quality podiatric care for patients with pathological foot conditions and those at risk of developing serious foot health complications.

The post holder is required to have excellent clinical skills to deliver a range of Podiatry treatments for patients in Kent. They will work with the local team to ensure service provisions are run effectively and efficiently. A comprehensive corporate induction programme is provided at the start of employment. The Podiatry Department also offers a preceptorship package covering peer review, clinical supervision, support, and mentoring. A competency programme ensures all work meets high clinical standards and can support career development into specialist areas.

This role requires a highly motivated and professional HCPC registered podiatrist with graduate clinical experience to deliver high-quality care for patients with foot conditions and risks. The department embraces new working methods, including virtual consultations, Wound Matrix, and Rio for clinical documentation. Services are delivered across community clinics, health centres, GP surgeries, hospitals, prisons, and patients' homes. Staff are encouraged to engage in diverse practice scopes.

Since many bases are away from public transport, driving and access to a car are required (subject to the Equality Act 2010). The Trust provides a comprehensive health and wellbeing support package.
