Overview
The MSK Physiotherapy service provides outpatient MSK services across Kent, operating within four teams covering North Kent, Ashford, Canterbury and Thanet, South Kent Coast, and West Kent.
Team Locations
- North Kent team working between Gravesham Community Hospital and Sheppey Community Hospital
- West Kent team working between Churchill Centre (Aylesford), Sevenoaks Hospital and Tonbridge Cottage Hospital
Role Highlights
- Full‑time hours preferred; part‑time (minimum 30 hours over 4 days) may be considered
- Travel across trust sites required; a UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are mandatory
Responsibilities
- Manage a complex caseload of patients and maintain appropriate records under the supervision of a clinical lead physiotherapist
- Develop and maintain a high level of skill and knowledge in MSK Physiotherapy
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for physiotherapy students, apprentices, assistants, band 5 staff, and peers, including involvement in service development projects
- Actively contribute to the running and future service development of patient group sessions, such as Back Rehabilitation, ESCAPE knee, shoulder, and Pilates classes
- Work autonomously and as part of a team, embracing change and innovation under pressure
