As an Early Years Apprentice, you will support quality care and education across nursery and school settings. You will help create a nurturing, engaging environment, support children’s learning and development, and gain valuable hands-on experience working with a range of age groups.

Kent College is a co-educational school with a Methodist foundation. The school is located in Canterbury, just one hour from the centre of London by train. The Junior School (from Nursery to year 6) has some 200 children and is set on an idyllic 14-acre campus. This is a fabulous opportunity to work for a happy, caring, and successful school in which pupils feel supported and encouraged to aim for high standards of achievement and conduct. Children follow individualised programmes that recognise that all children flourish at different rates and in response to different challenges.

The school was graded as excellent in all categories in the recent inspection conducted by ISI in October 2022, the Independent Schools Inspectorate that conducts inspections on behalf of the Secretary of State for Education.

This role is 33 hours per week, term-time only (35 weeks per year). We offer free on-site parking, free lunch during term time, cycle to work scheme and many more.

Closing date: 28th August 2026, although if a pool of suitable candidates becomes available before that date the College reserves the right to interview and appoint without further notice.
