Kent Business College (formerly IBIS Consultancy) is a fast-growing training provider delivering high-quality professional and apprenticeship programmes across the UK and internationally. We are an approved centre for CIM, APM, and PMI qualifications, delivering excellence through expert-led, flexible learning. We are expanding our CIM provision at Level 4 (Marketing Executive) and Level 6 (Marketing Manager) and are seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our academic team as the CIM Marketing Tutor & Programme Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- Academic Delivery: Teach and support learners enrolled in CIM Level 4 and Level 6 Marketing modules (e.g., Applied Marketing, Planning Campaigns, Marketing & Digital Strategy).
- CIM Coordination: Serve as the key liaison between KBC and the Chartered Institute of Marketing, ensuring smooth coordination of memberships, assessments, and learner registrations.
- Teaching & Learning: Deliver engaging online and/or face-to-face sessions for CIM Level 4 and Level 6 modules; support learners in preparing for CIM assignments and assessments; provide constructive feedback, marking, and academic guidance aligned with CIM standards; participate in induction and progression reviews with learners.
- Quality & Compliance: Manage learner registrations, memberships, and exam entries with CIM; liaise with CIM to ensure compliance with qualification requirements; maintain learner records, results, and progression tracking; support KBC in preparing for CIM audits or moderation activities.
- Programme Development: Contribute to continuous improvement of learning materials and assessment support; collaborate with internal teams (marketing, compliance, operations) to ensure a seamless learner journey; represent KBC professionally in communications with CIM, learners, and employers.
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- A recognised CIM qualification (Level 6 or higher) or equivalent marketing degree.
- Teaching, coaching, or tutoring experience within professional or higher education settings.
- Familiarity with CIM assessment structure and standards.
- Strong understanding of marketing strategy, digital marketing, and campaign planning.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
