The Project Centre Manager is responsible for leading the Project Centre team to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales growth, and support customers with project planning and product solutions.
Responsibilities
- Effectively lead 100+ sales professionals located at the Project Centre in our Kent Building Supplies stores.
- Recruit and develop sales talent for the business and its various sales silos.
- Develop strategic growth plans for the program, and collaborate with various strategic partners within the business to grow sales.
- Communicate and build rapport with Store Managers to provide visibility and value proposition for the Project Centre.
- Report to the Senior Leadership team regarding sales data, plans, and developments for the Project Centre.
- Responsible for developing the Project Centre Program and continuous innovation to foster an environment most conducive to selling.
Qualifications
- College/Bachelor’s degree in a Business related field would be considered an asset.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Sales and Management; building supply industry experience would be considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven strategic and analytical skills.
- Independent, problem-solver.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop a large team.
- Organized, and can effectively manage competing priorities.
- Bilingual (English/French) preferred.
